Manchester United are working hard to sign Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, according to the Mirror.
The 19-year-old could leave the Bundesliga giants this summer, with a return to England potentially on the cards.
Liverpool are one of the clubs to have been linked with the winger, who has contributed 12 goals and 12 assists in the league this season.
United are also keen on acquiring Sancho’s signature, however, and this latest report claims that they think they are in a good position to sign him.

Sancho is a hugely exciting player, so I would never be against the idea of Liverpool signing him.
To be producing the numbers he is at such a tender age – 28 goals and 33 assists for Dortmund – speaks volumes about his potential.
That being said, I don’t believe there is a necessity to sign Sancho, as long as Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino are all at Anfield.
They remain Liverpool’s undisputed first-choice front-three, so it is hard to see how Sancho would play every week if he did arrive.
Given his pedigree, I would be surprised if the teenager didn’t want regular playing time, making someone like United a more attractive proposition.
A lot depends on Sancho’s attitude to not coming in as a star man – if he is happy to feature sporadically to begin with, Liverpool should do all they can do sign him.
