Manchester City have agreed a deal with Valencia winger Ferran Torres, according to a report from Eurosport.
Liverpool have been linked with a move for the winger in the recent past but it looks like he could be about to join The Reds’ biggest rivals in terms of the Premier League title race.
City are looking to replace Leroy Sane, who left the club to join Bayern Munich, and it looks like they have identified Torres as the man to come in and take the place of the German international.

Quite how interested Liverpool were, or are, in signing Torres is unknown but it’s fair to say that Liverpool are lacking a third winger in their squad.
If either Sadio Mane or Mohamed Salah aren’t in the Liverpool starting line-up, the Reds don’t have a natural winger to replace them and it’s often Divock Origi or Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain who are shoe-horned into a wide role.
Torres could have been a good option for the Reds but with finances seemingly stretched due to the pandemic, it looks like Liverpool may be sticking with what they’ve got for now.
