Sadio Mane wishes nothing but success for team-mate Mo Salah and is determined to help the Egyptian forward as much as he can before the season finishes in May.
There were rumours flying around that Mane wasn’t too keen on Salah when first arriving at Anfield in the summer, with reports saying that Mane was ‘jealous’.
But the reports were rubbished by both the player and the club and now Mane is looking forward to carrying on the great relationship with Salah ahead of there clash in the Champions League with Premier League rivals Manchester City.
Speaking to Liverpool Echo, he said:
Mo, can make this difference in tight games, He is a great player and helps us to win games. He has showed his quality, everybody is happy to have Mo in the team.

Salah has scored 37 goals in all competitions, an outrageous start to a new life on Merseyside. The forward is now only three goals behind Liverpool legend Ian Rush’s record of 40 goals in a single campaign.
Mane continued:
We are going to help him to score even more goals for us, we want to give him more assists so he can he achieve great things.
The attacker has been in superb form himself of late, scoring another crucial goal for the Reds away at Palace on Saturday lunchtime, meaning he now has 15 goals in all competitions this campaign.
The pair will be hoping to carry on their sublime form this season when they line up against Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City at Anfield on Wednesday night.
