Liverpool have been handed an injury boost ahead of their Champions League clash with Red Star Belgrade this week, as Sadio Mane has been passed fit to play.
According to a report from the Mirror, the Senegal international will be given the nod to feature against the Serbian side following recent treatment to his thumb injury.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp opted to rest Mane for his side’s trip to Huddersfield Town at the weekend but is expected to recall him for their midweek Champions League fixture with Red Star Belgrade.

The Reds will be hoping to secure their second win from three in the illustrious competition this season. Liverpool defeated PSG 3-2 at Anfield in their first group stage game before falling to a late 1-0 defeat at Napoli.
Mane has been an important player for the Reds this season and Klopp will be hoping that he can help the team to a much-needed victory on Wednesday night.
