After every game involving Italian sides in the Champions League, Gazzetta dello Sport rate the players involved and hand out various awards and after Napoli’s 1-0 win over Liverpool, Reds’ star Mohamed Salah was given an unwanted accolade.
Gazzetta labelled Salah as Il Peggiore, which translates as The Worst. They graded the Egyptian star as a 4.5/10, which was the worst grade they give to every player involved. Their reasoning was equally as harsh
Recognisable only by his crazy hair, he never managed to accelerate with the ball or even without it.

Alisson was named as Liverpool’s best player by GdS, whilst Napoli midfielder Allan was named as their Man of the Match, which is fair as he played very well throughout the course of the win.
