Napoli manager Carlo Ancelotti has been heaping praise on Liverpool ahead of his side’s Champions League clash with the Reds on Wednesday evening.
The experienced Italian spoke to the media on Tuesday as he continued to prepare his side for their second Champions League group stage game against Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Liverpool head into the game at the top of the group after their 3-2 win against PSG in the opening round of fixtures. Napoli, however, were held to a 0-0 draw by Red Star Belgrade.
Ancelotti, as quoted by talkSPORT, was in complimentary mood and was quick to highlight the qualities that Wednesday’s counterparts will present to his Napoli side.

Liverpool have improved a lot, they managed to reach the final last year and they started the season very well.
The former Chelsea manager delivered his verdict on just why Liverpool are so well suited to competing in the Champions League.
I think they have become one of the strongest teams in Europe. They have a great physical condition, they play with intensity and so they manage to overcome the challenges of the Champions League.
A win for the Reds would certainly strengthen their grip on the top spot of the Champions League group. A win for Napoli, however, would see them overtake Klopp’s men.
