Barcelona may not be the only team Liverpool have to fight off in January as they look to keep Philippe Coutinho at the club; as Paris Saint Germain are reportedly still keen on the midfielder.
This comes according to Sport, via Sky Sports, who claim that the Ligue 1 side have taken a step towards signing the Brazilian.
The report claims that PSG’s sporting director Antero Henrique met with Coutinho’s representative Kia Joorabchian in London and asked him not to pay any heed to Barcelona’s offer to the player.

PSG have a strong Brazilian contingent at the club, with ex-Barcelona men Dani Alves and Neymar having joined centre-backs Thiago Silva and Marquinhos, and wide player Lucas, in the French capital during the summer transfer window.
The last time the Parisian side bought anyone from the Premier League was before the 2015/16 season, when Angel Di Maria arrived from Manchester United and Benjamin Stambouli joined the club from Tottenham Hotspur, both to different effect.
They last did business with Liverpool prior to the 2013/14 season, when Mamadou Sakho arrived on Merseyside for less than 20 million Euros; the French side have never directly bought or received a player from Liverpool.
