Liverpool will be hoping to put an end to what has been a wretched run of form by their standards when they welcome Burnley to Anfield tonight.
Jurgen Klopp’s side are without a win in four Premier League matches as they look to defend their title.
The Reds will also be putting their unbeaten home record of 68 Premier League games on the line once again, although Burnley were the only team to take points off Liverpool at Anfield in the champions’ march to the league title last season.
However, the Lancashire club have lost three of their last four league fixtures and sit just above the relegation zone.
Previous incarnations of this fixture have seen Liverpool struggle but more often than not prevail, notably when Ragnar Klavan emerged at the back post to head home a late winner three years ago.
