When Trent Alexander-Arnold put pen-to-paper on a new contract with Liverpool back in January, Jurgen Klopp asked the club’s supporters to come up with a chant for the full-back and a few weeks later, The Kop have delivered.
At the time, Klopp said:
Liverpool supporters love him as ‘one of their own’, although I have noticed he doesn’t have a song from the fans yet, so maybe that is something they can work on, wow, does he deserve one!
The manager got his wish on Wednesday evening as the Liverpool fans sang for their local hero during a game where he had three assists.

Alexander-Arnold set up both of Sadio Mane’s goals as well as the first of Virgil van Dijk’s two headers and he was serenaded by Anfield.
The song is a quite simple one, but it’s very catchy! Sang to the tune of “And now you’re gonna believe us,’ it goes:
He’s Alexander-Arnold, He’s Alexander-Arnold, He’s Alexander-Arnold, The Scouser in our team!
The man himself heard the song on Wednesday night and took to social media to express his gratitude to the fans.
Twitter: Proud to be the Scouser in this team
Thank you for my song
