Liverpool fan favourite Andrew Robertson has urged his teammates to be fearless against Manchester City on Wednesday night.
The two Premier League rivals will lock horns in the first leg of the quarter-finals in the Champions League tomorrow. Robertson has insisted that the Reds won’t be afraid of the run-away league leaders.
Robertson said, via the Daily Mail:
I don’t we can be afraid, they won’t be afraid of us and we won’t be afraid of them. We must be fearless. They have been the best team in the league this season, and will win the league. But this is two games in the Champions League, a one-off.

City have only lost once in the league this season, and that was against Klopp’s side. Reminiscing over the victory, Robertson spoke of how he believes that the win was the Reds’ most complete performance of the season.
The last 10 minutes were a bit shakier than we wanted, but we pressed them all over the field and took our chances when they came to us, it was a complete performance.
This game was one that arguably saw Robertson become a new Kop favourite. Starting from his left-back position, he charged down every pass that was made by City in the last few minutes and turned in an exceptional display.
Robertson will be desperate to replicate the same level of performance when City arrive at Anfield in the elite competition tomorrow night.
