Liverpool will reportedly face competition from AS Roma in their pursuit of Real Madrid star Dani Ceballos.
According to claims from Italian news outlet Calciomercato, the Serie A outfit will look to move for the young Spaniard as the race for his signature hots up ahead of the summer.
The 21-year-old has not had an easy ride at Real Madrid since his move from Real Betis last summer. He has struggled to find his way into the club’s first-team plans and as a result is set to walk away at the end of the season.

Liverpool have been heavily linked with a move for the midfielder, who scooped the Player of the Tournament award at the European Under-21 Championships back in June.
Ceballos is a wanted man and as his situation with Real Madrid becomes increasingly precarious, a move away from the Bernabeu appears to be on the cards.
The Reds will hope to fend off competition from Roma in the summer, with the Italian side said to be confident about their chances of landing Ceballos.
