Liverpool’s Senegalese super star will be back in first team training very soon after recovering from knee surgery in April, according to the club’s official website.
Mane was an integral part in getting Liverpool back in the Champions League spots last season in his debut campaign for The Reds after signing from Southampton last summer.
He is expected to join up with first team preseason training within 10 days, however, he will probably miss the friendlies with Wigan Athletic and Tranmere Rovers.
This is massive news for Liverpool fans, who clearly noticed his absence at the end of the season, and in January, when he went to the African Cup of Nations, where his Senegal side got knocked out on penalties by the eventual winners Cameroon in the quarter finals.

Liverpool have recently signed Mohamed Salah from Roma and it will be very interesting to see who starts for Jurgen Klopp’s side, especially if Mane comes back from injury and shows the form he showed last season.
Mane will be assessed by the Liverpool medical staff to make sure he returns to the team in the best shape possible and to not run the risk of suffering another injury.
