Sadio Mane missed training on Thursday afternoon as Liverpool prepared to face Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening.
The forward started on Wednesday night as the Reds lost their first game of the campaign to Chelsea in the League Cup, thanks in part to a wonder goal from Eden Hazard.
The Reds travel to London to face Chelsea on Saturday evening in a game that they’ll be desperate to win in order to keep their 100% record in the Premier League.

Liverpool’s recent record over Chelsea isn’t the best as they’ve failed to win any of the last four meetings between the sides, including a 1-0 loss in the corresponding fixture last season.
The Reds will want to be at full strength for the game, so they’ll be desperate to have Milner in the team and will be hoping that his absence was just a rest.
However, the likes Naby Keita and Fabinho, who started alongside Mane on Wednesday, did train with the squad so his absence is worth keeping an eye on, although Liverpool fans will be hoping that he was just resting after a busy period.
