Sporting Lisbon have approached Liverpool with a loan offer to sign young starlet Rafa Camacho in January, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The 18-year old, who was previously a youth player with Sporting, has made rapid progression since being promoted to train at Melwood on a permanent basis, impressing during the club’s pre-season tour of the United States.
The Portugal Under-20s international midfielder has also impressed in the UEFA Youth League this season, earning him first-team inclusion as an unused substitute on three occasions.
Versatile, Camacho can play at full-back, in midfield or as part of a front three, and the Primeira Liga outfit are keen to add him to their ranks.
