Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Daniel Sturridge will return to the UK within the next 24 hours to complete his rehabilitation from his current injury.
Sturridge has been missing for Liverpool for well over 3 months now, and has missed all but 3 of Liverpool’s 20 league games, not to mention his absence from other competitions.
Rodgers said: “He’s at a very late stage, he’s going to be back into the country over the next 24 hours – which is great”.
