Virals: Barcelona eye Liverpool midfielder Thiago for ‘possible return’

Liverpool midfielder Thiago is believed to be under consideration for a ‘possible return’ to Barcelona. 

The 30-year-old Spaniard arrived at Anfield in 2020 from Bayern Munich having previously spent his entire career at the Catalan giants. 

Since becoming a Red the cultured ace has struggled for his best form due to persistent injuries and adapting to a new league. 

Now according to Portuguese journalist, Pedro Almeida on Twitter, new Barca manager Xavi could look to take Thiago back to the Camp Nou.

Almeida claims that the 46-cap Spain star is ‘very appreciated’ by his former midfield colleague. 

Thiago has made 37 appearances since arriving on Merseyside, scoring once and providing one assist.

Irrespective of what has gone before Liverpool have a high-quality player on their hands in Thiago. 

Jurgen Klopp will still be underwhelmed by what he has managed to get out of the Spaniard thus far but nonetheless will recognise the ability. 

Whilst the £22.5million valued ace is yet to set the world alight at Anfield, this is not the moment to be calling time on Thiago just yet.
