Liverpool could have been handed a boost in what would be the sensational signing of Paris Saint-Germain star Kylian Mbappe.
It has been reported that the 22-year-old ‘can see himself’ at the Reds, owing to the fact he is believed to hold Liverpool in high esteem for the heritage and prestige.
That’s according to a report from Le Parisien, as cited by The Anfield Talk on Twitter, which also claims the Frenchman has been open to leaving the French capital since 2019.

As an unresolved contract situation at PSG rumbles on, speculation as to where Mbappe’s future may lie remains at fever pitch.
Despite also holding an interest in playing for Real Madrid, that desire may dwindle amid reports compatriot and football icon, Zinedine Zidane, could be set to leave the Spanish giants’ managerial post in the summer.
Arguably the most sought-after young player in world football, Mbappe has previously spoken of his admiration for Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side – hailing the Reds a ‘machine’ in 2020.
This season the rapid forward has 41 goals and 11 assists in just 46 appearances in all competitions.

Signing the World Cup final hero would be a transfer of earth-shattering proportions from the Reds.
Whilst the finances involved don’t lend themselves to the previous activity in the marketplace during FSG’s tenure – there are seemingly genuine connections between the club and superstar.
Principal owner John W. Henry has previously been reported to have courted both Mbappe and family on a private jet.
Further reports have also suggested the growing link between Liverpool and basketball star LeBron James could stand the club in good stead to land the Frenchman.
Albeit mostly tenuous links there is definitely an underlying situation between club and player.
However, valued at a staggering £144million, Liverpool would certainly have to break their transfer and wage model to make the dream a reality – despite Mbappe only having 14 months remaining on his current deal.
