Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has played down the chances of a busy end to the summer transfer window at Anfield.
So far the Reds have only added centre-back Ibrahima Konate to the first-team ranks, whilst also welcoming Harvey Elliott back from a successful loan spell with Blackburn Rovers last season.
That is despite allowing Gini Wijnaldum and Xherdan Shaqiri to leave the club, both players who came up with big moments during their time on Merseyside.
Speaking in a press conference today (Friday, August 27), ahead of the monumental clash with Chelsea on Saturday, Klopp suggested inactivity could last until the deadline, as cited by James Pearce on Twitter.

Lack of signings aside, Klopp’s side have made the perfect start to the new Premier League season – keeping two clean sheets in the process.
