Liverpool are believed to have joined the admirers in FC Porto winger Luis Diaz.
The 24-year-old faced the Reds on Tuesday as Jurgen Klopp’s side ran out comfortable 5-1 winners in the Estadio do Dragao.
Despite the resounding victory, Diaz remained a constant threat throughout the night and may have earned a closer inspection from the Anfield club.
According to a report from The Independent, as cited by LFC Transfer Room on Twitter, Liverpool and Barcelona have shown an interest in the Columbian.
The report pits the Reds as the main competition for the 18 times capped ace’s signature after a summer move to Everton collapsed.
So far this season the talented left-winger has scored five and provided one assist in nine outings across all competitions.

Signing additional attacking options looks to be part of the next phase for this Liverpool squad.
Diaz has been a consistent performer since arriving in Portugal and despite struggling to get the better of makeshift right-back James Milner, would represent a smart signing.
Possessing an abundance of attacking skills, the Columbian would enhance the weapons at Klopp’s disposal no end.
Under contract until 2024 and holding a market value of £22.5million (Transfermarkt), this could be a deal that comes at an affordable price for the Reds.
