Liverpool are believed to have a ‘plan’ in place to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe next summer.
The 22-year-old has been perennially linked with a move to the Reds and could potentially be set to leave the French capital as a free agent in 2022.
Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly keen to strike a deal this summer whilst the Anfield club are seemingly willing to wait until negotiations can begin in January.
Journalist Ian McGarry has told the Transfer Window Podcast, as cited by The Anfield Buzz on Twitter that Liverpool will be amongst the suitors.

Mbappe is interested in making the move to Liverpool, something that Jurgen Klopp has a central role in, in regards to Mbappe’s respect and admiration for the German coach. Liverpool are pursuing and they believe they have an opportunity in which they may be able to get Mbappe for two or three years if they include a get-out clause in his contract.
Mbappe has made a superb start to the new season under Mauricio Pochettino, scoring once and providing two assists in the opening two Ligue 1 fixtures.

Valued at an eye-watering £144million (Transfermarkt), signing the Frenchman for free would perhaps be the bargain to top all bargains.
Capped on 46 occasions by France, the ace once described as ‘unplayable’ by Antoine Griezmann has already risen to an astronomical level of global stardom.
Joined by a certain Lionel Messi in Paris, perhaps for a final season, Liverpool could be the next destination for a man destined to reach similar heights.
Capable of playing across the frontline, Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino, Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane would all find their starting places under threat should the Reds pull off the unthinkable.
