Liverpool have been extensively linked with a move for Ajax winger Antony in recent weeks.
The 21-year-old is believed to be on the radar at Anfield and could follow in the footsteps of fellow South American forward Luis Diaz in making the switch to the Reds.
Already an established member of Erik ten Hag’s side and has this season earned an outstanding 7.56 average Sofascore rating in five UEFA Champions League outings.
That form on the biggest stage has alerted Liverpool to the talent and Antony has recently spoken of a desire to play away from the Eredivisie.

This interest has led to former Premier League goalkeeper Paul Robinson telling Football Insider about the Brazilian’s prowess.
He has exceptional quality but he’s very similar to what Liverpool have got. When you look at Diaz, Salah and Mane, Antony is very similar to them. You can only play three up there and you’ve got [Diogo] Jota and [Roberto] Firmino as well. But at the same time, Antony is a top, top class player who would fit perfectly into that Liverpool formation and style of play.
So far this season the seven-cap ace has scored 11 times and provided a further nine assists in 26 appearances across all competitions.

Valued at a rising £31.5million and under contract in Holland until 2025 (Transfermarkt), prising the Brazilian away from Ajax won’t be cheap.
However, the Dutch league has a habit of selling its most prestigious talents when the time is right and Antony will likely be no exception.
Predominantly a right-winger, the ex-Sao Paulo starlet would initially arrive as an understudy to Mohamed Salah before perhaps eventually becoming his successor.
Boasting a plethora of outstanding attacking attributes, this is a deal Liverpool should be desperate to complete in the summer.
