Liverpool capped off a memorable Anfield night with victory on penalties over Leicester City.
Despite trailing 3-1 at the break, a resounding crowd urged the Reds forward before goals from Diogo Jota and Takumi Minamino levelled the contest.
It was then left to Irish stopper Caoimhin Kelleher to become the hero as the 23-year-old saved two spot-kicks in the shootout.
Having been replaced on the hour mark, captain Jordan Henderson could only watch on as the drama unfolded.
However, the 31-year-old was quick to praise the goalkeeper on social media in the wake of the victory.

Meanwhile, Leicester supporter Gary Lineker was less than enthused with the evening’s events.
I love football, but every now and then I hate it.

What a night.
That second-half display from the Reds was a hugely impressive comeback in the circumstances.
An inexperienced side had looked out of their depth for 45 minutes before changes at the break transformed the whole contest.
Kopites won’t be too perturbed by ex-Everton striker Lineker’s dismay either as it happens.
