Watford have lodged an official enquiry for Liverpool left-back Alberto Moreno, according to IBTimesUK.
The Reds defender had a superb game against Bayern Munich in Liverpool’s recent friendly, but looks likely to be surplus to Jurgen Klopp’s requirements ahead of next season.
Liverpool have already signed Andy Robertson from Hull in this window for a fee of around £8m, offering a rotational option to James Milner.

This could spell the end of Moreno’s time at Anfield, with Watford seemingly keen to bring him in this summer.
Marco Silva’s side are somewhat weak on the left hand side of defence, and Moreno would undoubtedly bolster the Hornets’ options, while offering competition to Jose Holebas.
It’s stated in the report that Silva is a big fan of Moreno’s speed and technical ability, and a move is most certainly plausible if Klopp is content with the two defensive options at his disposal at left-back.
Moreno signed for the Reds back in 2014 but has failed to tie down a regular place in the starting line-up.
