Roma have shown an interest in Liverpool target Milan Badelj after they identified the need for the club to bring in a holding midfielder this summer with the future of Daniele De Rossi very much in doubt according to Calcio Mercato.
There are three players which the club have identified as possible replacements for De Rossi; Milan Badelj, Nicolò Barella and Lucas Torreira.

Badelj would provide an option which is at a much cheaper price as his current contract is set to come to an end at the end of the season allowing the club to get him on a free.
Barella is someone which Liverpool are really targeting as they look to improve their midfield whilst Torreira is another option which could come to the fore.
Both of these players would cost £20 million for the club to bring in the players but the manager James Pallotta is still unsure on whether he will use this one the team to improve them.
