Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has failed to sign a new deal at Liverpool with talk of him moving for a free opening up talks with Bayern, as reported by Sport Witness.
It was thought that he was set for a move to Italy to join Juventus, but it has now emerged that Bayern Munich are showing a heavy interest in the player.
Can has been a key figure for Liverpool this season, being a mainstay in the side helping the side to currently sit in the top four and qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Can has played for the Bundesliga champions in the past and it’s widely thought that the player would prefer a different challenge than one he has had previously.
The German side are hoping to bring him in alongside Leon Goretzka as two free signings this summer.
This could see Can slip from the grasp of Juventus who were previously confident of landing the player.
