Emre Can will travel with the Liverpool squad to their training camp in Marbella.
The midfielder will rejoin his team-mates in training after receiving treatment on a back injury in Germany.
There, he will be assessed by the club’s medical staff before a decision is taken on whether he is able to return to full training.
The 24-year-old midfielder is aiming to prove his fitness in time for the Champions League final against Real Madrid in Kiev on May 26.
Can hasn’t played for Liverpool since being forced off against Watford in mid-March and that lack of game time has resulted in him losing a place in Germany’s World Cup squad.
James Milner will also travel with the squad to the training camp. The Reds’ vice-captain is expected to be back in training after missing last weekend’s 4-0 win over Brighton due to a muscle injury.
Klopp’s squad will regroup after being granted two days off following the last game of the season.
The Reds will be based in Marbella for four days as they focus on the challenge of overcoming Real Madrid.
This will be their second time back in Costa del Sol this season having had a similarly long break back in February between matches.
