Liverpool want to sign a new goalkeeper this summer and the latest name to be linked with a move to Anfield is Barcelona’s Jasper Cillessen.
According to Spanish news outlet Mundo Deportivo, the Reds have identified Cillessen has a potential option ahead of next season, with the club keen to replace Loris Karius with a new first-choice goalkeeper.
Barcelona have often insisted that Cillessen is not available for a move away but with the prospect of first-team football on offer at Liverpool, the goalkeeper could be tempted to push for an exit from Camp Nou.

The Netherlands international has always been regarded as a deputy for Marc-Andre ter Stegen at Barcelona and at 29-years-old, Cillessen will surely be keen to start playing regular football.
Liverpool have already identified Roma’s Alisson and Atletico Madrid star Jan Oblak as two goalkeeping targets for the summer, but Cillessen has emerged as another alternative.
The Dutchman’s contract at Barcelona entails a release clause worth €60m, though, and with the club understood to be keen on retaining his services, prising Cillessen away could be an uphill battle for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
