Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey is not a target for Liverpool, despite reports suggesting the Reds could launch a move for the player before the window closes.
According to David Maddock of the Daily Mirror, the Reds have played down claims the Welshman could emerge as a target for Jurgen Klopp’s side.
It had been suggested that Ramsey could be signed following the long-term injury suffered by Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Ramsey has been heavily linked with moves away from Arsenal this summer as he enters the final months of his contract in London.
Unai Emery has been very vocal in his desire to keep the player at the club and build the team around him, but the Welshman appears to be closer to signing a new deal at the club.
