Liverpool have already been given a boost ahead of their meeting with Leicester City this weekend with the news that Jamie Vardy will miss the game.
The striker was suspended for three matches after being sent off against Wolves, and the game against the Reds is the last of those three matches that he is ineligible to play in.
The striker, who is arguably Leicester’s most dangerous attacking player, saw red against the Premier League new boys after a high challenge on Matt Doherty on August 18th.

Vardy has an exceptional goalscoring record against the Reds, having scored against them seven times in eight games, including his goal in Liverpool’s 3-2 win at the Foxes back in September 2017.
Liverpool will go into Saturday’s game hoping to extend their lead at the top of the table before each of their rivals play, but they know just how tough things can be at the King Power Stadium as they lost there in the League Cup last season.
Premier League betting odds show that the Reds are clear favourites for the game, but despite Vardy’s absence, Liverpool will need to be on their game in order to earn a valuable three points.
