Liverpool throw-in coach Thomas Gronnemark has extended his stay at Anfield, report BBC Sport.
The Dane has impressed so much during a six-month ‘probation’ period that the club want to keep him on.
Gronnemark has penned a new contract keeping him with the Reds until June 30th 2019.
His appointment was much discussed at the time, with Jurgen Klopp himself admitting he hadn’t even heard of a throw-in coach before.
Gronnemark has clearly caught the eye, however, and he was merited with playing a part in England’s 2-1 win over Croatia last Sunday.

Joe Gomez’s excellent throw-in from distance led to Jesse Lingard equalising for the Three Lions, with the Liverpool youngster’s precision put down to the coaching given to him by Gronnemark.
The 42-year-old praised Gomez in an interview with Mundial, saying:
You know, you can say that he has good technique now, but we are still trying to improve him even more, he’s a good player, he has some fast muscles when he’s running against strikers, he’s very fast but also very flexible.
‘With Joe, it’s good technique but also a good physique. He can throw very hard but he can also throw far, it’s very difficult to defend against because he can throw very dangerously to the far post.
Gronnemark holds the world record for the longest throw-in, with his effort coming in at a huge 51.33m.
Liverpool deciding to retain his services can only be good news.
