Liverpool’s FA Cup clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers has been moved to Monday, 7th January, with the game now being broadcast live on the BBC.

The game had originally been scheduled for Saturday, 5th January, with Reds boss Jurgen Klopp unhappy about the date of the fixture.

Liverpool travel to Manchester City on the Thursday before the matchup, in a game that has massive title implications.

Both teams are yet to lose this season, but the game would only have given his side one days rest before travelling to the Black Country to face Wolves.

However, Klopp will be relieved to find that the game will now be moved, with Liverpool hoping for some success in the FA Cup this season.

The Reds only reached the fourth round last season before being dumped out by Wolves fierce rivals West Bromwich Albion.

The season before that Wolves themselves knocked Liverpool out in shocking fashion. Paul Lambert’s side beat the Reds 2-1 to knock Klopp’s side out again in the fourth round.
