Liverpool Power Rankings: GW6

Liverpool’s Champions League defence got off to a poor start last Tuesday, losing 2-0 away to Napoli.

A dubious penalty decision gave the Italian side the lead and a defensive mix-up between Virgil Van Dijk and Andy Robertson finished the game off.

On Sunday, Liverpool remained top of the Premier League with a 2-1 win over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

The victory was not completely convincing, though, as Jurgen Klopp’s men were put under huge pressure in the second half.

Trent Alexander-Arnold scored a stunning goal to open the scoring at Stamford Bridge – can he move back into of our Power Rankings?

As the season progresses, we will continue to work out who sits in the top five overall, determining who the Reds’ most influential and consistent individuals are.

Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah have been trading places at the top of the list until now, but neither have performed in the last two outings.
