Steven Gerrard is a target for Leeds United, should Marcelo Bielsa leave as manager.
According to Football Insider, Gerrard is a “prime candidate” to become the next boss of the Premier League hopefuls.
Bielsa’s future at Elland Road was thrown into question last season and there is no guarantee that he will be a long-term manager there.
Gerrard is currently thriving in charge of Rangers, guiding them to the top of the Scottish Premiership, as things stands.
Leeds supporters don’t appear to be too enamoured with the rumours, particularly given their admiration for Bielsa.

Replacing the Argentine with Gerrard would be an undoubted risk, considering the latter’s lack of managerial experience.
He is still very much learning his trade and it is could be too soon for him to take the job.
Many see Gerrard as the long-term replacement for Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, but he must only get the job on merit, rather than because of his legendary playing career at Anfield.
