Takumi Minamino will officially become a Liverpool player on January 1st after the Reds agreed a deal to sign him from Red Bull Salzburg.
The Japanese star has already completed the formalities of the deal and he’ll officially be a Red when the transfer window opens in the New Year.
Having watched Minamino play against Liverpool twice this season, plenty of Reds’ fans are looking forward to seeing him playing for Jurgen Klopp’s men and it looks like he’s already got a song.
As shown in the clip below, Liverpool supporters on a coach, which they’d used to travel to and from Leicester on Boxing Day, came up with this song to the tune of ABBA’s Mamma Mia.

It’s great to see that fans are excited about the arrival of Minamino. He was outstanding with Salzburg played at Anfield and if he can match those performance levels as a Liverpool player, then his song will get plenty of airings.
