There have been numerous reports in recent months linking Liverpool with a move for Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho and these reports have been confirmed by ESPN who say:
Liverpool are interested in Borussia Dortmund forward Jadon Sancho, but a move is unlikely next month unless a deal can be agreed ahead of the summer.
The 19-year-old has been linked with moves to Chelsea and Manchester United as well as Liverpool, but it appears that he would rather go to Anfield than to Stamford Bridge or Old Trafford.
Even so, Dortmund are reluctant to sell the teenager in January and it looks like the only way a deal could possibly be completed next month is if it is based on Sancho making a move in the summer, similar to the deal that saw Christian Pulisic move to Chelsea at the end of the 2018/19 season having agreed a deal in January 2018.

Sancho is clearly a very talented player and his potential arrival at Liverpool would be very much welcomed by a majority of the club’s fans.
However, a deal for Sancho is likely to cost somewhere around the £100m figure, so there could be some worries that his arrival could signal the exit for another star player, although Liverpool certainly have the financial ability to spend on Sancho without selling.
