Rafa Camacho still has a ‘great’ relationship with Jurgen Klopp, ‘very regularly’ keeping in contact with his former manager.
That’s according to A Bola, via Sport Witness, who claim the Portuguese is thriving at Sporting CP.
The young forward moved to his homeland permanently last summer, completing a €5 million move from Liverpool.
First-team opportunities were slim with the Reds, such was the brilliance of attacking trio Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino.
Camacho has found his feet at Sporting, however, making eight appearances in the Primeira Liga this season, registering one assist.

I think it always made sense for Camacho to leave Liverpool, rather than potentially growing stale in the Under-23s.
He was never quite at the level required to thrive in the first-team, in my opinion, such was the rise of the Reds under Klopp.
Camacho always had quality, though, and his switch to Sporting was the perfect move, allowing him to shine at a lower level, albeit still a high one.
It was brave of him to move away from Anfield at such an exciting time, but I believe he is now reaping the rewards, playing 90 minutes twice in the last week.
