Liverpool have offered Bayer Leverkusen €125 million for the services of Kai Havertz, according to a local Leverkusen-based outlet, as passed on by Viasport presenter Jan Arge Fjortoft on Twitter.
Havertz, 20, could leave the Bundesliga club this season and he won’t be without suitors. The Reds have been tipped to sign him throughout this season, but the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have shown an interest, too.
It is now claimed that Liverpool have made an enormous bid for Kai Havertz – one that would be a club record fee if it was accepted by Leverkusen.

Havertz would be a wonderful signing, bringing a different dimension to Liverpool’s midfield with his creativity.
The Reds looked one-dimensional in the middle of the park in Tuesday’s 1-0 defeat away to Atletico Madrid, with the European champions failing to register a single shot on target.
Fabinho, Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum all bring a lot to Liverpool’s side, but guile isn’t always their strong point.
Havertz is averaging 2.3 key passes per game in the Bundesliga this season, which is superior to the totlas of Fabinho (0.8), Henderson (0.6) and Wijnaldum (0.3) in the Premier League.
He is also an emerging talent with years ahead of him, so he could mature into an even more formidable player over time by working with Jurgen Klopp and his coaching staff.
