Some Liverpool fans have heaped praise on Andy Robertson after the left-back donated money to a mental health charity.
The 26-year-old has been a revelation at Liverpool since joining from Hull City in the summer of 2017.
Although Robertson arrived to a fairly muted reception, he quickly showed what he was made of. Now in his third season as a Liverpool player, the Scot has matured into one of the world’s best left-backs.
Robertson is a huge character both on and off the pitch, making himself extremely popular with supporters.
A tenacious individual during games, the Scotland captain wears his heart on his sleeve and gives his all. Away from the pitch, however, he is a hugely likeable individual, producing humorous content and using his wealth and fame to good use.
That has been perfectly highlighted by a tweet from Scottish charity Back Onside, who thanked Robertson for a sizeable donation.
