Liverpool blown away by Ben White as Reds consider summer swoop
Liverpool have reportedly been blown away by Ben White, as they weigh up a summer move for the centre-back.
That’s according to Football Insider, who claim that club scouts have monitored him throughout this season and have been left very impressed.
White has started every Championship game for Leeds United in 2019/20, helping them to the top of the table.
He is on loan from Brighton currently, and while the Seagulls may wish to keep hold of him, Liverpool’s interest does appear to be strong.

I see White as an ideal fourth-choice centre-back option for the Reds next season, with Dejan Lovren potentially moving on. While the Croatian is a 30-year-old who is unlikely to improve, White is a 22-year-old with a bright future, representing a player at the opposite end of the career spectrum.
He could come in and occupy a squad role, playing in domestic cup games or if there is an injury crisis at the back, growing all the time and learning from the imperious Virgil van Dijk.
White has a pass completion rate of 85.3 per cent this season, and the fact that he has been playing in a possession-based team at Leeds means he could be well-suited to Liverpool’s style.
