Former Liverpool winger Ryan Kent has attracted interest from Premier League newcomers Leeds United and is a reported £10m target but it looks like the player wants to stay with Rangers.
Kent, who left Anfield for Rangers in 2019 following numerous loan moves, has begun the Scottish Premiership in fine form, form that has attracted the attention of Leeds boss Marcelo Bielsa.
However, the Daily Record have reported the 23-year-old wants to stay at Ibrox amid the speculation.
It is believed there has been no direct contact made between the two parties as of yet and the Gers will be desperate to hold onto the man they paid £7 million to Liverpool for as they attempt to thwart Celtic’s pursuit of a tenth consecutive Scottish Premiership title.
With two goals in the opening four matches for Steven Gerrard’s Rangers, the Premier League champion’s opening day opponents have seemingly stepped up their interest in the former Red.

Despite never making a first-team appearance for the club, Liverpool maintain a vested interest in Kent’s development and any future transfer.
Liverpool have a 20% sell-on clause in place, meaning the Reds will receive 20% of any future transfer fee, perhaps a timely boost to the coffers as Jurgen Klopp pursues his own summer targets.
However, it looks as if Kent wants to stay with Rangers, and the Glasgow giants have no desire to sell him, so the Reds might need to wait a bit longer before they see the benefits of including that clause in his deal.
