France Football have reported that Liverpool have agreed a fee to sign forward Ismaila Sarr from Watford despite the fact that they landed Diogo Jota over the weekend.
The report claims there is now an agreement in place for a deal to bring the 22-year-old to Anfield for around ‘€35-40m’ as the Jurgen Klopp looks ‘to make the former Rennes (player) a joker for the Reds’.
Liverpool had been widely linked with Sarr prior to the emergence of the advanced talks with Wolves for Portuguese star winger Jota.
The deal to sign Jota was confirmed on Saturday and could rise to around £41m, depending on numerous stipulations.

Having introduced Jota and Thiago, it seems unlikely that Jurgen Klopp would be desperate for Sarr to further bolster his current squad.
Liverpool know all too well how good Sarr is having seen him first-hand as he took a leading role in the champions-elect first Premier League defeat of the last season.
Sarr seems to be edging towards the exit at Vicarage Road, having not featured this term in the Championship following the London clubs relegation.
A countryman and friend of Sadio Mane, Sarr would have no problem settling in at the club, although this deal still remains unlikely given the recent acquisitions.
