A number of Liverpool fans have been left delighted after more footage emerged of Virgil van Dijk working on his injury recovery in the club gym.
The Reds were rocked back in October after Van Dijk suffered cruciate ligament damage, following an awful tackle by Jordan Pickford.
The 29-year-old has possibly been ruled out of the entire season, such is the severity of the injury.
Liverpool have done admirably in Van Dijk’s absence, sitting top of the Premier League and qualifying for the last-16 of the Champions League, but that’s not to say he won’t still be a huge loss over the course of the season.
On Monday, the Reds’ official Twitter account posted a video of the Dutchman doing gym work, as he works hard to get back on the pitch as soon as possible.
These Liverpool supporters have been showing their love for arguably the world’s best centre-back on Twitter, willing him to return to the fold.

Remarkable progress after a horrific challenge. Great to see @VirgilvDijk doing so well. YNWA.
