Kostas Tsimikas will be assessed by Liverpool’s medical team after picking up an injury against Midtjylland, Goal‘s Neil Jones has confirmed.
The left-back was given a chance to shine on Wednesday night, as the Reds drew 1-1 away to the Danish outfit, in a Champions League dead rubber.
Tsimikas did well in general, but his night ended prematurely after he jarred his knee in the second half.
The Greek defender was swiftly replaced by Andy Robertson, as Liverpool have to deal with yet another injury.
The severity of the problem is not yet known, but it could be that Tsimikas faces a spell on the sidelines.

The hope is that Tsimikas’ injury is nothing serious, as his start to life at Liverpool continues to be disjointed.
Wednesday’s game was just his third start for the Reds, but with matches coming thick and fast, he will hope to feature more in the coming weeks and months.
Should Tsimikas be out for an extended period of time, it could be that James Milner again has to fill in as an auxiliary left-back, should Robertson be rested.
