Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara has been sidelined with a knee problem since the Merseyside derby two months ago and many Reds fans have been eagerly anticipating his return ever since.
Signed from Bayern Munich in the summer, the 29-year-old has been hailed as a player who could make a positive impact on Jurgen Klopp’s all-conquering side. In just 134 on-field minutes as a Liverpool player, the Spaniard has already shown what he can bring to the Anfield outfit.
It was reported this week that Thiago could return to the fold before the end of December. Those claims seemed to be endorsed last night as the midfielder, in situ at Anfield for Liverpool’s 2-1 victory over Tottenham, dropped a hint on Twitter regarding his impending return.
