Not many former Liverpool players with fewer than five appearances for the club have left a mark like the one Steven Caulker has.
The centre-half, who now plies his trade in Turkey for Alanyaspor, posted a picture on Twitter from a training session with the caption ‘Klopp knew what I was about’ as the 29-year-old finishes off a one on one.

During his spell on loan with the Reds back in January 2016, the former QPR defender was switched to play as a striker as Jurgen Klopp went in search of an equaliser against Arsenal.
The move, along with Caulker’s Anfield spell more generally, has been met with almost constant derision ever since from many Kopites, and the recent reminder has stirred a reaction.
