This international break has afforded Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp to check out some of the clubs most promising emerging talents up close and personal.
One of those promoted to first-team training duties, alongside those who haven’t gone away with their national teams, was Polish 17-year-old Mateusz Musialowski.
Signed last summer from homeland side UKS SMS Lodz U19, Musialowski has been catching the eye within the Reds youth ranks – scoring seven goals and assisting two others for the clubs Under 18s.
Dubbed the ‘Polish Messi’, the Poland Under 17 international has starred this week amongst some senior members of Klopp’s squad and a dazzling moment of fancy footwork was caught by LFCtv.
Clearly a talent, the youngster has got people talking with his exploits on social media and has been earmarked for fast-tracking into the Polish national side sooner rather than later.
