Newcastle United striker Alan Shearer and Arsenal thoroughbred Thierry Henry have become the first two inductees into the Premier League Hall of Fame this week.
With 435 goals between them and three English top-flight titles, the duo were always likely to be shoo-ins into the newly formed legends only area.
Unsurprisingly this has got fans of numerous fanbases talking, not only about who may be the next to feature, but who the potential candidates could be from each club.
Liverpool fans have been no exception and a discussion has begun on Twitter regarding which Reds, past and present, could find their way into the Hall of Fame.

Steven Gerrard is perhaps the most popular name amongst the replies, despite never winning the Premier League during his playing days. Having scored 120 goals in 504 appearances for the Reds, most of which as captain, Gerrard will surely be admitted.
Whilst Liverpool themselves have legends aplenty, few will likely wash when it comes to all-time league greats. The likes of James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Jamie Carragher will be interesting names to keep an eye on as the Hall of Fame move forwards.

The major bone of contention could be Michael Owen. Based on statistics and achievements alone, having become the youngest player to reach 100 Premier League goals it could be argued he would be fully deserving of a place.
However, given his quick getaway from Merseyside before pitching back up at arch-rivals Manchester United, very few Liverpool fans will be calling for the frontman to be included.
One striker who seems far more likely to receive full-backing is Robbie Fowler, or God, as he is affectionately known as by Kopites. The Toxteth ace netted 163 goals during his top-flight playing days and is almost certainly going to be considered in the not too distant future.
