Liverpool are reportedly set to battle with Barcelona for the signature of Leicester City midfielder, Youri Tielemans.
Both clubs are believed to harbour an interest in the Belgian, who last weekend won the FA Cup for the Foxes with a stunning long-range strike.
Despite a desire to tie down the 24-year-old at the King Power Stadium, surprise reports from Italian outlet Calciomercato, as cited by The Anfield Buzz on Twitter, have claimed the Reds and the Catalan giants are keen on a summer move.

Tielemans arrived in the Midlands initially on loan from French Ligue 1 club Monaco, before making the move permanent in July 2019 for a club-record £40million (BBC).
This season the 37-cap Belgium international, hailed an ‘enormous talent’ by national team manager Roberto Martinez, has scored nine and assisted six goals in a remarkable 50 appearances across all competitions.

Signing Tielemans from a bona fide Premier League rival would be a major coup for Jurgen Klopp.
The German manager looks likely to be in need of a central midfielder as Gini Wijnaldum could be set to play his final game for the Anfield club on Sunday.
Having made 50 outings this season, the Belgian would more than replace Wijnaldum’s availability at the very least.
Valued at an eye-watering £49.5million and with a current contract until 2023, Liverpool would be forced to dig deep for the star.
One positive step towards potentially being able to land the midfielder could be qualifying for next season’s UEFA Champions League in place of Leicester.
