Liverpool have seemingly joined the race to sign FC Nordsjælland forward Kamaldeen Sulemana.
Following a report claiming arch-rivals Manchester United were monitoring the 19-year-old, the Danish club’s manager Flemming Pedersen has added the Reds to the list of potential suitors for his ‘extraordinary’ talent.
Speaking to Denmark’s TV3 after a 2-1 victory over Randers this week, as relayed by BT and cited by Goal on Twitter, Pederson confirmed the interest coming from Anfield.

According to the ensuing report, Ajax sporting director Marc Overmars has also been keeping a keen eye on the starlet who was named in Goal’s 2021 NXGN list.
Capped on two occasions by Ghana at senior level, Sulemana is capable of playing on either wing as well as a central striker and was described by Pedersen as having the potential to supercede Neymar due to being ‘faster’ than the Brazilian.
This season Sulemana has scored 10 goals and registered eight assists in 29 appearances across all competitions – including 10 league goal contributions.

Jurgen Klopp is regularly behested to the transfer restraints of those above him – making Sulemana an attainable and realistic target this summer.
Valued at £2.7million (Transfermarkt), the Ghanaian international would be affordable in any circumstance and could provide Klopp with much needed attaching versatility.
The Anfield squad requires added impetus over the summer and a teenager with plenty to prove could fit the bill.
