Liverpool are reportedly taking a closer look at Real Betis midfielder Guido Rodriguez this summer.
The Reds are believed to be in the market for a replacement for Gini Wijnaldum during the ongoing transfer window and have been linked to numerous potential candidates.
Rodriguez is the latest name touted with a potential Anfield switch as the La Liga side could be ‘forced to sell’ the 27-year-old to raise funds.
This is according to a report from Spanish outlet La Razón, as cited by Liverpool FC News on Twitter.

The report claims that despite holding a release clause of €80million (£68million), Betis could accept offers of €30million (£25.5million) for the 10 times capped Argentine.
Signed for just £2.7million in January 2020 from CF America (Transfermarkt), Rodriguez has scored three times in 53 appearances since arriving in Spain.
Last season the defensive-minded midfielder earned an impressive average Sofascore rating of 7.02 from 35 La Liga outings.

Having recently starred for Argentina during a successful Copa America campaign, Rodriguez’ stock has never been higher.
Credited with superb defensive attributes, signing the ace would raise eyebrows given Fabinho’s dominance at the base of the Liverpool midfield.
Albeit a relative bargain at the mooted asking price, Klopp needs a different type of option to replace Wijnaldum in the squad and the money would be better spent elsewhere.
